Belinca: I was born in Haiti - 27 years old

When, Where and/or How did you meet your BF/GF/Wife/Husband?

• David: College church group.

What was your first impression of your wife?

• David: "She's cute! I wonder what's she like?"

When did you first know you are falling in love with your wife?

• David: The first date! It was like magic as we were having this long conversation about life at that Chili's restaraunt.

What responses have your friends/family had to your relationship?

• They're all for it

• David: Mostly we both have great supportive my parents. At first my dad didn't understand why I didn't want a nice white girl as my wife. But when he met Belinca he understood!

When you we're a teenager who did you fancy, which teen idol made you scream or fantasied?

• David: I actually like Natalie postman and Halle berry. Lol

Have you tried the cuisine from your partners' culture? If yes, which is your favourite dish and why?

• David: Fried Plantains with black beans and rice. And haitian chicken!

What type music or favorite artist does you and / or partner enjoy?

• David: We like world music from all over the planet. And also Corrine Rae Bailey, Michael Buble' and John Legend.

What stereotype(s) have you found to be TRUE and/or FALSE with your partner?

• David: She really does like chicken. Lol. Friend and grilled

What advice would you have for someone who is hesitant but would like to start an IR relationship?

• David: Just remember that if you know in your heart that you truly have feelings for that person it doesn't matter if they have green skin, love doesn't always match.

What is the best advice you received from your wife?

• David: I would say the best advice is that she always tells me things will work out. When she sees I'm getting stressed about work or something she always reminds me that things will work out and not to worry. She's a very peaceful easy going woman that knows life is to short to stress about things. She's the best!!!!
