When, Where and/or How did you meet your BF/GF/Wife/Husband?

Crystal: We met through friends at a high school basketball game. It was meaningful, because it was right after I (Crystal) lost my sister who was the closest person to me.

What was your first impression of your partner?

Crystal: My first impression of Jeremy was that he was very handsome, tall & I felt that something about him was very different than most of the guys that I had come come in contact with.

Jeremy: Love at first sight. I thought it was cute that she was very nervous considering I am her first boyfriend. Similar to what she said, I felt something different about her and that's what really attracted me to her.

When did you first know you are falling in love with your partner?

Crystal: I knew that I was falling in love with Jeremy when I said yes to dating him for some strange apparent since I denied many who have asked before him. I knew when I would stay up all hours of the night just to speak with him. When he gave me butterflies in my stomach 24/7 which I've never had with anyone else before. I just knew from the very beginning that he was the perfect one for me. I knew that my sister sent him my way just for me!

Jeremy: From the moment we started dating and the more that we dated things kept getting better and better. I instantly fell in love with her each & everyday that keeps going by and I fall in love with her all over again more and more every day and every second that goes by. <3

What responses have your friends/family had to your relationship with your partner?

They're all for it.

Crystal: All of my family members love him & enjoy having him around. They have a great feeling about having him as a part of the family. They always ask about him & they love the way he treats me. They also always say that they better be invited to our wedding. Ha, they say well we all can't have the Jeremy & Crystal relationship. I love that our relationship inspires them to have one like ours.

Jeremy: My parents, family, and friends all love her. They all think she is a very nice and mature young lady. My parents said that they are attached to her, other family members say they love her, and my friends say that she is very good for me because they know I needed a great girl. I found out she is better than great and perfect.

Have you ever received a comment as an interracial couple? If so, what was your reaction?

Yes, we have received comments about us being an interracial couple. Many people stare at us a lot, but we don't let that affect us.

Have you tried the cuisine from your partners culture? If yes, which is your favourite dish and why?

Crystal: I tried stuffed cabbage for the first time & it was pretty tasty to me!

Jeremy: I have tried a lot of Hispanic food and I liked them. Food such as Spanish rice and Goya products.

When you we're a teenager who did you fancy, which teen idol made you scream or fantasied?

Crystal: I don't think I've really ever had any besides some of the sports players, but I never really got into it until now.

Jeremy: My only idols were Tupac Shakur and Dwayne Wade and that is it.

What is the best advice you have ever received from one another?

Crystal: He has honestly given me so much advice since he is my first lover and he has had more experience than me when it come to relationships. I feel like all of the advice that he has given me is very beneficial to our relationship and it keeps us close and hard working on our relationship which keeps it healthy and strong.

Jeremy: It's more that she is always there for me than advice. Her being here for me is all i look forward to everyday because there has been times when i needed her the most and she was always there and will always continue to be there for me.
